Custom Training

VSTAC now offers custom training events for private groups! I strive to lower barriers to training, and understand that many people are unable or unwilling to travel to a class. Now, if you have enough people and a suitable training area, I will come to you! This way you can train in your local area with your people, and create a customized class that best fits your needs.

Choose your training curriculum by selecting from the following list of training modules:

Land Navigation Prac-app	Day and night practical application of the Land Navigation Class	4 hours day, 3 hours night, plus 1 day of setup	20 acres, preferably wooded	Maps of the training area, all map tools from the Land Navigation Class
Radio Basics	Fundamentals of radio theory, how to tactically communicate, building a communications plan	3 hours	Classroom with whiteboard	Personal radios

Automatic Rifleman	Methods of employment for the designated “suppressing fire” guy in your team	8 hours	Live-fire range, at least 200m	Semi-automatic rifles with bipods
Anti-Materiel Rifleman	Employment of .50 BMG rifles, anti-armor tactics, shooter-spotter communication	8 hours	Live-fire range, at least 100m, with a berm rated for .50 BMG	At least 1 .50 BMG rifle
Fieldcraft 101	Constructing a covert tarp shelter,living out of a pack	1 hour	2 acres, students spending the night in the field	Military style poncho or tarp, backpack with 2 days of supplies, paracord,
Fieldcraft 102	water treatment, camouflaging equipment	4 hours	2 acres, local stream/river preferred	Bucket of locally collected water if no stream at training area, paracord, backpacks, boonie hats and/or helmets

When you select the modules you want, I will compile them into a training syllabus and work with you to schedule dates for the event.

My fee for custom training is $200 per student per day, minimum of 2 days. My minimum class size is as follows, measured in distance from Jacksonville, NC:
